The price difference between our indoor and outdoor parking is $9 a day. On a weekend trip that is less than a lunch at the airport. On a two-week trip it adds up to a bit more. So how do you decide?
Pick indoor when...
- It is November through March and snow or freezing rain is possible while you are gone
- You land late at night and do not want to clear a car in the cold
- Your car is new, dark colored or just freshly washed
- You are adding detailing, so the car stays clean afterward
Pick outdoor when...
- The forecast is mild and the trip is short
- You drive an older work truck and care more about price than paint
- You want the shuttle and the short drive, but not the roof
The math
Indoor is $27 a day and outdoor is $18 a day. For a 4 day trip that is $108 indoor or $72 outdoor. For a 7 day trip, $189 indoor or $126 outdoor. Prices subject to change.
If you fly every week or two, look at a 10x20 unit instead. At $135 a month (50% off the first 3 months) it can cost less than parking by the day.
